Live webinar "Get on board and let's get going"

How can I easily switch to Transit?

Those who start using Transit do not usually start right from scratch. Your company has already spent lots of money getting their documents translated. Or you have an extensive translation memory in your old system, which you want to "bring along" to Transit and use for translation suggestions. Or you also want to use the Transit benefits for your translation projects that are not yet created using Transit.

Transit supports numerous formats and functions that enable you to transfer and exchange data and projects from other systems, so that you can draw on the plentiful resources on offer from Transit.

This webinar explains how you can extract translation memories from existing translations, as well as how you can carry out projects that do not originate in Transit.

In the first third, you will see an "alignment". If, until now, you have worked without a translation memory system, you can use the translations that already appear in your documents, brochures, manuals, websites, etc.

Part 2 will show you how quickly and easily you can import the translation memory from another TM system (or from your translation service provider) into Transit and then use this.

In the third part, you will find out about the exchange of XLIFF projects and translation jobs from another TM system in order to translate and send these back.

Target group

For companies and project managers who want to switch to Transit

This webinar is aimed both at participants who have no previous knowledge of Transit and those who do not have much experience of working with alignment or the TMX import.

You are in the right place if you want to find out how you can transfer translations into Transit.

For translators with little previous knowledge of Transit

Another target group is translators who also want to use Transit for projects that were not created in Transit.
