Live webinar for beginners: Translating without juggling tags

What do I do if my language pair contains markups?

Formatting and markups are part of many translation projects. However, they shouldn’t distract translators from their work. Transit offers several options for assigning markups “discreetly” and for quickly and easily adding them in during the QA process, if necessary. This lets translators, even those with only basic knowledge of the program, focus on their core task: translating text.

In this webinar, you’ll learn how to handle markups in a language pair and how to conduct quality assurance for markups.

You’ll start by learning why markups are necessary in the first place and about the different types of markups in the Transit editor.

You’ll learn how to handle markups as you translate. We’ll also show you the most important keyboard shortcuts as well as a very simple method for inserting any kind of markup.

Finally, we’ll explain the review process for markups and how to fix any last-minute issues.
