Our company

STAR AG is the STAR Group's parent company and was founded in 1984 in Switzerland. With more than 100 employees STAR AG is the biggest company of the entire STAR Group.
STAR AG has occupied a former convent since 1996. STAR AG's accommodation is in four buildings: the former school building, the convent accommodation, the workshop and a church. The church remains open to the public and is maintained by a local volunteer group. The buildings stand in a park with lawns and gardens.
The nuns have now left; instead the work here is in software and documentation.
The offices are in the old school and workshop buildings, which have been renovated for their new purpose. STAR AG now has around 2,000 m2 of office space.. Fiber-optic cable was laid out to this idyllic site especially for STAR, to ensure a rapid connection with the economic centers of the world at all times.
