Concept-based terminology management
TermStar draws a distinction between concept and nomenclature. It thus allows concept-based terminology management, in which language reversal can be conducted at any time at the push of a button.
TermStar dictionaries are specially structured so that all possible translations for a particular morpheme are transferring summarized within a single dataset. This structure is known as "meaning-based" or "concept-based".
Each translation of a morpheme is a linguistic entry within the same dataset. Each of these entries has a particular transferring: the word used in each language for this morpheme.
By employing this structure, TermStar supports the consistent use of terminology and the easy maintenance of dictionaries.
