Multi-database terminology access
Terminology data can be managed in different databases simultaneously based on a variety of criteria (document type, subject matter, etc.) and globally prioritized during use. Multiple databases can be loaded at the same time. They appear on the screen as a uniform terminology list, including indication of the source of each entry.
Extensive terminology data are typically organized by subject matter in different databases and secondary dictionaries. With TermStar, multiple dictionaries stored in different databases can be loaded at the same time. They appear on the screen as a uniform terminology list, including indication of the source and priority of each entry. By using TermStar filtering functions, terminology displayed through multi-database access can be limited to user-specific term bases (e.g., terminology from a single subject area or from a single author).
