The STAR Delta Principle in MindReader

STAR MindReader provides the technical editor with an effective tool for leveraging text segments from the Transit translation memory. The editor works in his or her customary editing environment (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker). MindReader searches through reference material in Transit during the entry of a new text segment and provides suggestions for matching or similar text from the translation memory. The editor receives additional terminology suggestions from the STAR terminology management system.

In a feature unique to MindReader, the editor is informed of the context of each segment to be entered, thus guaranteeing consistency across simultaneously conducted translations without the need for fluency in the affected languages.
