The STAR Delta Principle in GRIPS
The STAR Delta Principle, which calls for maximum leverage and minimal processing time except for new data only, is an integral part of the GRIPS information model. Content to be collected in GRIPS is stored and maintained in small, manageable information units through a combination matrix/information model. This procedure limits editing and translation exclusively to modified or completely new content. Each information element is recorded just once and is accessible on demand for use in product brochures, operating instructions or maintenance books in the desired language, version and variation.
