The highly qualified, experienced editors of the STAR Group not only possess these qualifications, they are also supported in their work by the proven STAR production environment. At STAR, information is produced in accordance with the Single Source principle, regardless of medium. Editors are guided in the editing process by company and topic-specific information structures (Information Type Definition – ITD).

By linking together topic-specific ITD's, the corporate information model (CIM) creates a predefined structure in which individually entered information elements are automatically and correctly networked.

As text is entered into individual information elements, all media-specific output views (such as web and print views) can be automatically generated and displayed.

By synchronizing the Editor and Viewer functions, the editor can control the final outcome of all resulting user views.
